Solid Rock Church is a diverse community of ordinary individuals who bravely place their trust in Jesus.

THE Solid Rock STORY

WE STAND FOR LIVES CHANGED BY CHRIST

Our church started as Brighton Presbyterian, and while we enjoy a rich history that includes the preaching of Charles Finney, we now enjoy being a non-denominational church filled with previously denominational people: Catholic, Orthodox, Baptist, Pentecostal, non-denominational, Calvary Chapel, and of course Presbyterian, etc.

Our mission of preaching the gospel to every creature takes form at Solid Rock Church as a place where churches are born. At any given time, you can find different congregations getting started or growing until they can have their own building. Our current pastor himself was a missionary in Ukraine for 20 years.


Here at Solid Rock, we are interested in growing the Kingdom of God.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that church isn't just about a building with a cross. It's about people's relationship with God and each other.

  • The Bible

    Is the perfect Word of God and is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

  • Jesus Christ

    Is God who manifested in the flesh, and that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone.

  • Baptism

    Is an outward celebration of the personal choice to follow Jesus Christ as Lord of your life.

  • Second Coming

    We believe that Jesus will come back to earth and gather His people unto himself.

  • Missions

    Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

At Solid Rock we see it as an imperative to reach the world for Jesus Christ. We believe this starts with reaching out to our local neighborhoods, surrounding areas and across the globe. As the apostle Paul believed in going to the Jew first, and also to the Greek, we believe in going to the men first, and also to the women and children.
